With the cancellations of both STARGATE ATLANTIS (as of the 5th season) & STARGATE SG-1 (as of the end of it's historic 10th season), the RPG SYS OP, Staff, Moderators & members here @ STARGATE : The RPG are anxeously looking forward to what form the STARGATE franchise, SG-1 & Atlantis will take next.
Whilst we are sad & disappointed that STARGATE SG-1/ STARGATE ATLANTIS will not continue on commerical T.V., we are determined that this RPG will continue. We will, of course, coontinue to incoporate future episodes of the STARGATE franchise & any new releases concerning STARGATE SG-1 & STARGATE ALTANTIS (such as (such as STARGATE SG-1: The Ark of Truth, STARGATE: Continuum, STARGATE ATLANTIS: The Movie , etc & the like) into this RPG & use them as the basis for the overall storyline we wish to tell; but this RPG is not dependant on the cancellation or change of format of any one show(s) in the STARGATE franchise.
It is our firm belief that by continuing on with this RPG & tying it in to any future release(s) of the STARGATE franchise; we have, are, & shall continue, to honour the cast, crew, & all others - including the fans! - whom have made the STARGATE franchise such a roaring success.
STARGATE is in our hearts, minds & thoughts; & we shall continue to do what we do best : tell stories set in the STARGATE universe & have fun whilst doing it!
