Asgard

The original Homeworld of the race of the same name, this planet was thought lost to prehistory and the ravages of time. Rediscovered by the Tau'ri after the demise of their former Asgard allies, this planet now serves as the base of operations for Earth's explorations in the Ida Galaxy.

Along with the Colonel Peary - Earth's first deep-space exploratory science vessel - new teams of SGC personel, scientists and civilians explore the former home of the Asgard, unlocking old secrets and uncover new mysteries as they seek out new friends and resources to aide Earth and her allies in their ongoing war with the Lucian Alliance in the Milkyway.
